[tex]\frac{3}{4}q[/tex] - 7 = 8

     +7   +7

[tex]\frac{3}{4}q[/tex] = 15

[tex]4(\frac{3}{4}q)[/tex] = 4(15)

3q = 60

[tex]\frac{3q}{3} = \frac{60}{3}[/tex]

q = 20
