As we know that when astrong acid completely reacts with a strong base, then salt and water is formed as a result of neutralization reaction.

For Example:

NaOH(aq) + HCl(aq) ------> NaCl(aq) + H2O(l)

When Sodium Hydroxide react with Hydrochloric acid to form Sodium Chloride and water.
