If you wet your hand and pickup a ice tray that is below 0°C, your hand may stick to it. This doesn't happen to wood. Why? ​

Answer:

As the ice tray is below 0 degrees when u touch it with wet hands it will freeze the moisture of our hands and sticks.

but this phenomenon doesn't happen in the case of wood

Since wood is not warmer than the environment ( unlike your hand) it may seem easier for your hand to stick to wood than a tray. However, logs have a rough surface so there may not be as smooth of a surface as skin for objects to adhere; this your hand can’t stick to wood.
