Intelligence, knowledge, and metacognition all involve using your background knowledge and be able to use it in real life, rather than school questions. Intelligence, knowledge, and metacognition simply can’t be shown by GPA, school work, or anything else, but how you comprehend things to the point that you can actually USE it.
All three words form a connection with very deep understanding of a subject.
