6 and 7
If one number is one more than the other then you just need to divide the sum in half and then add one. In this case you can just know that 7 and 7 is 14 so you know the other number is 6 to make 13

Answer:

x=7

y=6

Step-by-step explanation:

let no.s be x and y=

x=1 +y

x+ y=13

on substituting the first eq with the second we get

1+y +y=13

2y +1= 13

2y=13-1=12

y=12/2

y=6

x=1 +y

so x= 1+6 =7
