Why should you learn as much as possible about the company for which you are interviewing?

You want to show that you are dedicated and interested in this job specifically, you aren't just going to be unhappy and leave soon. It also makes it a lot easier to sell yourself in an interview if you know what the company does and how you'll be bringing value to their operations.
