why are all sequences descrete in math

Answer:

If you collect all the terms of the sequence into a set, that set will always be discrete, because there's only countably many of them, and every interval is uncountable. So you could move outside of natural numbers to real numbers, but then it's no longer a sequence, it's just a function.
