Answer:

y = 2x + 5

Step-by-step explanation:

(-5 , -5)  & (-1 , 3)

Slope =[tex]\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}\\[/tex]

         [tex]=\frac{3-[-5]}{-1-[-5]}\\\\=\frac{3+5}{-1+5}\\\\=\frac{8}{4}\\\\= 2[/tex]

m = 2 & (-5 , -5)

Y -y1 = m(x -x1)

y - [-5] = 2(x - [-5] )

y + 5 = 2 (x + 5)

y+ 5 = 2x + 2*5

   y = 2x + 10 - 5

   y = 2x + 5
