The major cause of the change that society had on its view on smoking since 1960 was because of scientific information wherein scientists found that smoking causes cancer. The smoke of cigarette contains around 70 chemicals called carcinogens. These are known to cause cancer.So that, society has changed its view on smoking since 1960.
