Velocity=3.4m/sec
Mass=30kg
so kinetic energy=1/2mv^2
=1/2×30×3.4×3.4
=15×3.4×3.4
=15×11.56
=173.4 kg m per second square

Answer: 173.4 Joules

Explanation: Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by an object by virtue of its motion.

[tex]K.E=\frac{1}{2}\times mv^2[/tex]

m= mass of object

v = velocity

[tex]K.E=\frac{1\times 30kg\times (3.4ms^{-1})^2}{2}=173.4kgm^2s^{-2}=173.4J[/tex]

[tex](1kgm^2s^{-2}=1Joule)[/tex]
