Incentives are payments or gifts given or made by an employer, the state, or an insurance company. Incentives are a form of payment or concession given to employees or workers with the hope that it will stimulate greater output or investment. Though there are companies that give little of these things, some companies that do actually gain more profit because of the extrinsic motivation that they give to their people.
