A rectangle is no more than six inches wide, and its perimeter measures 28 inches. At least how long is the rectangle?

Hello,

Assume w the wide and l the length of the rectangle.

w<6 (1)
2l+2w=28==>l+w=14==>w=14-l

(1)==> 14-l<6
==>14-6<l
==>l>8
