The equation of a line in slope-intercept form is y = mx + b, with "m" being the slope and "b" being the y-intercept. The "y" and "x" remain unfilled. 1/5 is the slope and -9 is the y-intercept. The equation of the line would be written as y = 1/5x + (-9) or just simply y = 1/5x - 9.
