The answer is cytoplasmic bridge. Cytoplasmic bridge is a thin strand of cytoplasm putting cells together as in higher plants, Volvox, and between nurse cells and developing eggs and at the center of a  developing sperm cells. Unlike gap junctions, allows the transfer of large macro molecules.
