Jennifer had $30 to spend on herself. She spent 1\5 of the money on a sandwich, 1\6 for a ticket to a musuem, and 1\2 of it on a book. How much money does she have left over?

convert the fractions to decimals. make (1/5) .2% etc, then do that for all to get real numbers and subtract from the $30. for example, she spent 50% on a book, or 30(.5)=15. she spent $15 on a book alone, do that for each item.
